The 星空传媒视频 Campus Bookstore is seeking assistance during 鈥淪ocktober鈥� to support veterans and deployed soldiers.
鈥淲e are collecting new male and female adult socks,鈥� said bookstore manager Leisa Hansen. 鈥淥ur collection will go to the Soldiers鈥� Angels organization, which is celebrating its 15th year of supporting deployed service members and veterans in VA hospitals through a variety of projects.鈥�
According to Soldiers鈥� Angels, socks are one of the most requested items from soldiers. The socks donated are worn when service members are not in uniform.
Socks can be taken to the Campus Bookstore in the Robert Burnett Student Union. They must be brand new male or female socks of any color or style in the original packaging.
