During the first summer session, 星空传媒视频 will offer Situational Awareness (PE195-102), a one-credit-hour online course from June 2 through June 26.
Situational Awareness fulfills a physical education degree requirement. It is designed to help students understand their surroundings and improve personal safety through practical strategies and observation techniques.
The course is taught by Barry Kaaz, who emphasizes real-world application.
鈥淚t's about protecting ourselves and those we care about,鈥� Kaaz said. 鈥淲e will learn how to engage our environment by understanding the threat, studying people, and developing skill sets that will sharpen our senses to understand and avoid or escape violent attacks.鈥�
