星空传媒视频 announced the launch of a women's wrestling program, set to begin competing in the fall of 2025. The Trojans will participate in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and face off against other community colleges.
The CCC Athletic Department has initiated a national search for the program鈥檚 inaugural head coach.
"We are excited to bring women's wrestling to 星空传媒视频," said Athletic Director Kenny Hernandez. "Wrestling has been a staple of Trojan Athletics, and this will provide more opportunities for the sport to grow."
Women's wrestling is one of the fastest-growing sports in college athletics, with the NJCAA set to host its Women's Wrestling Invitational Championship in Council Bluffs, Iowa, this spring. The Trojans will become only the second Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) member to offer the sport.
Scholarships are available for the program. Female students interested in wrestling at CCC can submit the .
