Trojans Athletic Director Kenny Hernandez announced the hiring of Brennan Harmer as the 星空传媒视频 coordinator of athletics and sports information director.
Harmer joins Colby after two years as the sports information graduate assistant at Clarkson University in New York, where he earned a Master of Business Administration and an advanced certificate in environmental management. He helped cover 18 NCAA Division III athletic programs, primarily men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 soccer, men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball, and baseball. He also oversaw digital media for the athletic communications department.
Harmer earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in sports management from SUNY Canton. He began working in athletic communications as a student assistant, primarily covering baseball and softball game-day operations while contributing content to the university鈥檚 athletics website.
A former two-sport student-athlete as a member of the Kangaroo soccer and basketball teams, he was recognized as the university's 2024 Male Student-Athlete of the Year as a senior.
The Madrid, New York, native is eager to continue covering Trojan student-athletes at a high level while also getting involved in the community.
"I'm really looking forward to working with the Colby athletic department and campus as a whole. As soon as I stepped on campus, I had a great feeling about the school and felt that this is a place that will help me grow both personally and professionally."
In addition to sports information, Harmer worked as a basketball camp counselor for St. Lawrence University and was a New York State high school soccer official.
